OK, on to the most important part of the Internet Marketing equation. Everyone wants to know how to get traffic! Once you solve this riddle of traffic generation,
you should be able to sell anything online, right? Well, lets just say it is the most important part, but you still need a site that converts
prospects into buyers. You need to seek out your target market.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) - You must not overlook the laser targeted FREE traffic of search engines. First off, if you did your research to see what keywords people are using to search
for your product, your meta-tags need match those key word phrases. You must then submit your site to the top search engines, and monitor your sites progress
for your keyword phrases. Make sure you use the meta-tag tool on our
tools page.
The key is that you must have a site with good content related to the keywords you are targeting. You must also have links from relevant sites, pointing to your site. If you continue to
add good content to your site, containing your targeted keyword phrases, you will be well on your way. Information is what there after, give it to them! Putting Video on your site will help
you gain a higher ranking. Search engines love fresh content, and video can help you achieve higher rankings with this fresh content approach. Adding video is not as hard as you think,

your site to see how well it converts prospects to sales. This is a great way to fine-tune your site, as you will know what keywords brought the visitor, how well your headlines and ads are performing, and how well your
sales copy is performing. You don't need to spend a lot of money in this process.

Forums - Forums are a great way to get some traffic. When you sign up for this forum, come up with a good signature that has a link to your landing page, or more information related to the
niche. You must find forums and then find posts with questions from people, and answer as many as you can answer. You can recommend a site to help fix a problem their having,
or you can simply described how to do something that fixes their problem. When you solve peoples problems, their is a
perception that you are an "expert", and they will curiously check out the link in your signature file and you will gain new traffic, and possibly even sub-affiliates.
Articles - Articles are a great way to generate traffic. You need to write good content related articles targeted to your niche, and simply try to explain something, or solve a problem people are having. The forum postings you do can be used to help in this area.
You will surprise yourself at how easily this can be accomplished. Once you have a good article, search for article sites to submit this information to. They normally have a box about the authour
of the article, so you can put a signature line with your link. Continue to do this on a regular basis as part of your overall traffic generation strategy.
Your whole website is supposed to be filled with usefil content, right? Break your site down into a series of different articles, and
you are quickly ready to start submitting content rich, keyword filled articles to all the article sites.
Social Networking Sites - Remember the spirit of these sites is a social setting so bear that in mind.
You need to join these sites, set up your profile and have some fun with it.
Here you will be able to seek out people with similar interests. You will need to invite people to be friends of yours, as people will also invite you to be their friends. You can start forums and invite people to participate, or as you get invited to join forums, you gain a
whole new source of targeted people to solve problems and become a perceived expert.
Blogging - Blogging is a great way to generate traffic, as blogs can be submitted to sites that will get their blogs in the search engines. Information is searched and your blog
can be found. Filling a need for someone searching for information. If you don't have a blog, you need to start one. It is a great way for visitors to get to know you on a more personal level. You can use humor and charm, describe a problem you encountered, or reveal a mistake
or miscalculation you made, use your kids in a cute anecdote, all kinds of ways to make people see you on a more human level and build rapport.
TIP: Always remember to work smart. Blogs you've written can become part of your auto-responder series or made into articles for submission. When you take the time to write some sort of content related to your business,
use it for as many traffic generating avenues as you can.
Viral Traffic - By creating an ebook or .PDF file related to your niche with some great content that contains links to a landing page, or having the rights to a useful software program which is modified to have your landing page link, you can create a serious amount of traffic. Put these on sites where they can be searched for and downloaded,
and make sure you let them know they can also give these great tools away. You have just gone Viral.
Links - Links from other related sites are crucial for SEO success. You can do a search on the major search engines for what ever your niche is, and put at the end "add url" or "add link". For example search:
home business add url, and you will get a list of suitable places for link exchanges. Commit to due a certain amount per week, and you will be linked to
great related sites in no time, increasing your relevancy.
Press Release - Use a Press Release to announce your new site. Once you have a great content related site all set up, do a simple search for creating a press release. Learn the basics of creating a press release, and create a simple press release for your business. Next do a search on:

Using the above techniques will help generate traffic for you. Be consistent in your efforts and commit to doing some of these things weekly, and you will be just fine.
